Rules for using this website. Membership and financial products are governed separately by SACCO bylaws and Ugandan law.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pharmacists SACCO website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Acceptance of terms

This website is operated by The Pharmacists Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited ("Pharmacists SACCO", "we", "us", or "our"), a savings and credit co-operative registered and licensed in the Republic of Uganda.

Your use of this website constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

2. About Pharmacists SACCO

Pharmacists SACCO is a member-owned savings and credit co-operative serving registered pharmacists, intern pharmacists, and Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda (PSU) staff.

The SACCO is licensed by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA). License no. 11404/RCS. Membership, savings, credit, and other financial services are governed by our bylaws, UMRA regulations, and applicable Ugandan law, not solely by these website terms.

3. Use of this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only, including learning about our products, downloading forms, submitting enquiries, and starting a membership application.

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, scrape content in a way that burdens our systems, or use it for fraudulent or unlawful activity.

4. Website information

Product summaries, rates, fees, and eligibility information on this website are provided for general guidance. Official terms for savings, loans, shares, land, insurance, and welfare products are set out in signed agreements, SACCO policies, and notices issued to members.

We aim to keep website content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or free from error. Contact the secretariat or refer to your membership documents before making financial decisions.

5. Membership and financial services

Browsing this website does not create membership. Membership is subject to eligibility, approval by the SACCO, payment of required fees and share capital, and compliance with our bylaws.

Online application and enquiry forms are invitations to apply or communicate. Submission does not guarantee approval of membership or any loan or product.

6. Form submissions

When you submit a contact enquiry or membership application through this website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We process submissions in line with our Privacy Policy and internal procedures. Do not submit sensitive information beyond what each form requests.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, content on this website, including text, branding, logos, layout, and downloadable materials, is owned by or licensed to Pharmacists SACCO and protected by applicable intellectual property laws in Uganda.

You may view, download, and print pages and forms for personal or membership-related use. You may not reproduce, sell, or republish site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

8. Third-party links and services

This website may link to external sites, for example social media platforms or map services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ugandan law, Pharmacists SACCO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including duties owed to SACCO members under co-operative and financial services legislation.

10. Availability

We may suspend, restrict, or modify access to the website for maintenance, security, or operational reasons without prior notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Service when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised.

Material changes may also be highlighted on the website where appropriate.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

Any dispute relating to use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda, without prejudice to rights and remedies available to SACCO members under co-operative and financial services law.
